Brazil Expression - Sponsorship Program
A major Brazilian Arts and Cultural Exhibition for Australia
Hosted by the Embassy of Brazil, Canberra
The Embassy of Brazil is a strong supporter of closer cultural links between Brazil and Australia. Its vision is to see the development of a Brazilian arts and culture exhibition that would tour major museums and galleries throughout Australia. This exhibition will promote cross-cultural cooperation between Brazil and Australia not only in its presentation to the public, but through the inter-country exchange of arts professionals working together on its creation.
There has never been a major exhibition in Australia that has exhibited the best of Brazil's historic and contemporary arts. Considering the historic links going back to colonial times between our two countries, and the recent increase in trade and business activity, it is timely to build on this initiative and create an exhibition that reflects Brazil's rich cultural life, namely: Brazil-Expression.
International Conservation Services in conjunction with Inform Projects was approached by the Embassy to assist in developing and touring Brazil-Expression.
