Restaurants, cafes, etc:

Casa Terrazza is in via Roma which is a great street, just metres from restaurants - La Tavernetta for example, is only about 5 doors up and Lo Schicchero 6 doors up! About 50 meters down via Roma from the house on the right side of the street is a small traditional bakery where you can buy traditional pastries and bread (please note, this shop does not have an exterior sign, but it is worth seeking out).
Lucignano has a great range of restaurants from low cost to more upmarket, two of the more high end ones, la Rocca and il Goccino are particualy good (I like il Goccino best!) another really good restaurant is L'Oste Matto. Lucignano seems to have a disproportionate range of excellent restaurants for the size of the town. I think this is because Lucignano is about halfway between Roma and Milano and only about 10 kl off the main Autostrada, so many Italians heading to Milan who want to experience true Tuscan food head to Lucignano.

In addition to restaurants, there are a number of bars and cafes in centro storico. There are two bars (one on either side of Porta S. Giusto - the main entry into the town) and one just inside the Porto. There are cafe's, pasticceria, butchers, banks, pharmacy and two supermarkets (supermercati) and a gelateria also within the town.
Lucignano is very well based explore the region, it is only about 25 minutes from Arezzo, 30 minutes to Cortona, 40 Minutes to Siena and 55 minutes to Florence.
